Nytro - turbo in midwest and mountains

I currently have a slightly modded mtn max. However, given time, etc., I am tired of clutching, changing carbs, etc. - to go out west and then possibly ride in midwest a time or two. My question is simple, I see cat now is coming out with a stock turbo 153 mtn sled - seems ideal for me - albiet a little heavier - no clutching, jetting - enough power, etc.

Can you do the same thing to a nytro and keep the great yami reliability? Meaning, put on a turbo / supercharger - that would keep reliability, give additional power - specifically for out west - and run on pump gas.

Any insight is appreciated. Who makes them? how much installed, etc.

Thanks.

A pump gas turbo nytro would be fully reliable for you. They rock and fun. all the kits are compareable. i recommend Impulse but all kits are pretty reliable.

been doing it for 3 years now on a powderlites kit, no problems so far. I believe i have just over 3000 miles. 10# here 12 to 14 out west depending on elevation. 91 octane with a bit of Torco just for insurance.

Not sure, but i would bet you can get a dealer to do it or a reputable powersports shop. I did mine myself.
