Well you were right---head gasket took a crap. The motor got too hot, too fast and cooked the pistons a little on the sides. I caught it just in time. The cylinder walls are in great shape.
So i figure, I'm replacing pistons, so might as well upgrade the rods.

In need of aftermarket rods & pistons for my T-Nytro. Who has some good deals?
i was hoping i was wrong but its better than getting a bunch of coolant on top the piston & taking out the rod & motor.not sure where your from but if in albt or b.c chuck does great work you could always get him to put a cam & port the head too for a bit more really make the nytro motor rock.he can be busy though if you are in a hurry for the motor.
