Nytro powderlites heat sheild

I have a 2008 nyto with a powderlites kit. I did not like the Ideal of the turbo exposed to the track. I installed a sheild to cover the turbo like the mcx am I going to have heat problems ??????

take a look at my "turbo protection" thread a few down the page, and let me know if this similiar to what you have put on your sled. I also have the powderlites turbo. I am more wondering about snow and ice build up.

Thats the worst thing about having a turboed 4 stroke. Cold beef jerky just doesnt cut it Good thing my buds still ride 2 jokes so I can use there cookers

The CR racing shield for the MCXpress kit works awesome. No snow/ice buildup and i didnt have any heat issues either. 1800km last year riding anything from chest deep pow to hard snow spring conditions.

I had these guys do my turbine housing, down pipe and header in "high temp black". I should have the sled fired up this weekend. I'll see how well it works and post results.

Just a thought for you I am sitting on my turbo so anything you eat will have my arse prints on It I dont have a gas rack on my nytro will you cart my fuel??
