nytro mtx speed down hill vs up hill

I have a 2010 nytro mtx se that is stock. First time to the mountains this week and I think it runs great. Anyway at the end of each day we like to line them up to the trail and run for about a 1/4 mile. My nytro would pull 79 mph down hill (slight grade) and would pull 84 going up hill. Anyone know why? Can I add more weight to the primary? Is it maybe off peak rpm down hill and on up hill?

You have a miracle sled:cheer2: Most likely you get some track slippage uphill even though you go slower the spedo will indicate higher.

Use a gps. It will tell you the real truth. You may be disappointed though, most

sleds indicate high that is why we call it the dream meter.

there is not doubt that my sled went faster up hill then down, all the other sleds speedos showed it and it would pull away from the sleds it could not pass down hill.

I didnt look, but I would think it might have been over revving going down and maybe at peak with it pulling up a hill.

You should be pulling 8800 rmps at full out open throttle. That seems really odd if you are pulling full rpms...
