I am about to lay out the funds for a nytro mpi stage 2 supercharger. I ride revy, whistler, castlegar etc, b.c mountains. I can honestly say i have not ridin or knowingly seen one run out here. Do they work, yes no lag but do they hit a wall up high rpm. MPI said they run there sleds at our elevation and do ride out here, easy to tune w controller. who runs one?

Boosted... the handfull of the superchargers I have seen run and ran up against I personally feel that you would be way happier with a turbo charged Nytro.
BC.

they come out OK, but not as hard as you would think. Top end isnt even close! A turbo sled will walk away from a SC sled.

I rode a stage2 SC nytro that Mac himself had come out to cali and tuned, running 16-17lbs, my impulse apex @ 12lbs on pump fuel was pulling almost 30 mph more track speeds on the same hill with a longer track! (153 vs 162)

I have a 1200 watercraft polaris tripple and thats exactally how that sled felt, they pull fairly hard and will beat most anything else but a good running turbo will SMOKE em!

after 2 years, the SC setup was still tempermental mainly fueling wise, my impulse apex on this particular day was on its second ride, worked spotless!

I have a stage II running 11-12 psi (depending on clutching...rpm=boost with a S/C).

I've ridden with NM, TrippleBlack and the rest of the Boost crew, and without a doubt, the turbos make significantly more power for the same amount of boost.

The SC comes on more like a 2 stroke, but has top end limits (also like a 2 stroke). Like mattymac said, very much like a watercraft 2 stroke.

I really like it in the trees and tight stuff, but at WOT, nothing competes with a turbo.

not sure , owned 4 front mounts and last one burnt down. They were great other than heat and cracked headers. I must say alpine's updated lasted! Either rear mount or mid this time around
