Nytro -- how much $$

nearly MSRP :-(

I had to pay almost MSRP for mine (MTX), a blue one with reverse (essential), and it was the last blue one the dealer had (Silverthorne, CO) so I paid the horrible price of 10,399.00 plus sales tax.

It hurt at first but it'll feel better tomorrow when I go pick it up...

Feel free to bash me about it, but it's snowing today, and the $hit eating grin I'll have on my face tomorrow will be worth the extra few bucks.

Plus since I'm upgrading from a 99 AC Powder Special 600 w/o reverse (and I've recently downgraded my back from good to permanently screwed up) the new sled weighs less, has 30 more hp and has REVERSE.

I've been riding my dad's 2003 SD Summit 600 lately as it has reverse, and we do a lot of roadway riding to get to the trails, and being able to back the sled into the driveway has some serious advantages.

Anyway that's my sad story... :-D

I would have bought from Ray but his he wouldn't budge off that MSRP so
elsewhere. He was advertising a 40th on craigslist for $700 off MSRP.

... I paid $9399 blue with reverse.

Yeah, I'm lazy

I thought about making some calls trying to find a deal, but this was a totally spur of the moment purchase for me (and the wife) so I wasn't going to ruin it over a few bucks.

I have been watching the 4-stroke scene since 02 and it seems like this is the next sled I'll own for 10 years (again) so over time it equates to very little...

Now if they get it built tonight and I get it tomorrow, the money will mean absolutely nothing to me.

Heh heh...

Going to pick up my new Blue Nytro MTX 9045 out the door with reverse, i think its a good price so i had to by it, now i have to choose between my turbo apex or the nytro, whoops nice christmas present for myself

could some of you guys post what you paid in taxes? I know that some of the out the door prices you must not have paid taxes, else you got the sled in the mid-upper 8K's. I paid 11,300 at I 90 motorsports in Washington. That is taxes and all fees, title, registration, sno-park pass..... all of it. For just the sled btw.

Think I need some clarification on this, or at least my wallet needs some assurance that I did ok on the deal. Liked the fact on staying local, and driving lessoned the deal on anything around that I saw. Did you buy local? Or did you have to drive? Don't need the name of the dealership if you don't want to.

Are you happy? that's what matters. What some of these guys post may not be real prices. Done deal. Ride, enjoy, have fun..

So is this a complicated way of saying your not going to tell me?

Sometimes it is good to measure ones ability to sense a good deal or bad.:p

You must realize that a "good deal" is a very personal thing. What someone considers an honest appraisal of value another might think of as highway robbery. With a new vehicle, especially, you must factor in the "emotional" amount. It's hard to tell, and even harder to tell someone they got screwed. Everyone has a price, and if you paid it, then it must have met your criteria for a good deal.

I guess I thought that this thread was kind of useless for comparison purposes if there is not full disclosure. If you are giving someone the price and it didn't include taxes and all that stuff, then that person goes to a dealership and gets a much higher price ( with taxes and the rest ), they might leave the dealership thinking they are getting screwed, when after taxes and all both sled prices were actually quite close.

Just trying to make the information a little better, but whatever.

Yeah, I agree! There is also the dealer network you can pull from and how much help the local dealer can give you in the event you need assistance after the sale. It's impossible to put a price on that. Different dealers pay different amounts, too, based on how much volume they sell. The internet is really hurting the current powersports sales process. I would imagine a reorganization of how they do things in the next several years, otherwise a "local" dealer may be non existant for most!

Know of a place selling them for
With rev $8499
with out $8199

If I was buying a Nytro that would be a hell of a deal!!!

No Frickin way.... That's about $800 below cost. No one would sell the hottest sled on the market for at or below cost..

I snowchecked mine(to get the 3 year warranty). I got the blue one without reverse, gave up my Yami bucks and paid $9,600 OTD. No sales tax in Alaska.

I stand corrected. The Man is telling it as it is.. Incredible price. Don't know about the usual "setop" fees though. Still a great price
