Nytro Front Bumper / Grab Bar?

Hey, I'm new and am considering picking up a couple of new Nytro SE 162's for this coming winter. I was wondering if anyone has removed their front bumpers, or do they add to the structure of the front end of the Nytro?... I really like the look of the sled, other than the ATVish front bumper. I figure that I can lift teh sled on the A-Arms and ski loops when i get stuck. Any thoughts?

Nope they are held on with 4 small bolts....it could be removed quite easy. If your not worried about front impact then go ahead.....

My front bumper ate pretty good, hard hit and bent it up a bit..
It hit hard enough to break/cut the skid plate AND the plastic behind it..

I think it'd be a pita to NOT have the bumper there for living, pulling, etc..
but yes its easily removed none the less.

Thanks guys! I've been on 136" RX1's and Attaks since they came out on 03'. The last three or four years I've been exclusivly 100% off trail, which is rare for my location... or atleast where I've been riding in the state. Lately the 136" track has made sledding no fun, as getting mired over and over again in 4 feet of mushy mashed potatos gets old fast.... thats why I'm making the move to a long track mountain sled. I cant really see hitting much as I currently dont bomb aound into trees, rocks ect. but I'm sure the extra hand hold is nice....

As to the new iron, I'll be sure to be posting more, asking questions, ect. if I do buy the sleds.... my dealer gave me pricing to trade my 07 Attak GT's in today, so now its just thinking it over.

Best,

Joe
