Nytro engine temp gauge install?

Hey guys,
I would like to install an engine temp gauge on my Nytro MTX.
Do I need a mechanical or electric style gauge and where would I hook this thing up?

Ulmer racing carries a sweet digital gauge. Easy install. Simply hooks into the ignition wires and has a ground. Takes about 20 minutes to install.

hey 347, I think I misread your thread I was talking about a coolant system temp gauge.

The sled already has a temp sender in it, the gauge probably uses the stock part
Wouldn't it be nice if you could program the stock gauge to display whatever function you ask it to

Yeah, that would be nice.

So am I going to need the electric style guage?

I'm assuming the Ulmer gauge is the way to go, let us know how it goes
