Ok, have only the two front bolts holding the motor, how do I get the motor on the ground without dropping it? It seems quite unstable, and is heavier than I thought it might be.

I see no good way to get anything around it, so before I mess something up I thought I should see what others have done.

I was hoping to keep this turbo a secret until the snow flies, but it is looking like I need a few more hands to get this motor out and then back in again.

Lift the entire sled up and level it on some blocks. Get a floor jack and a buddy. Put the floor jack under the motor by the oil filter where it is the beefiest. Slowly lower the motor out once you have all 3 motor mount bolts and connectors taken off. Make sure you get the water pump inlet hose off, the started wires off etc. The motor is heavy but not as heavy as you think. I can lift the motor into my truck by myself. I did have a buddy help me lower it out because you have to wiggle some things around. If you have your tunnel on and track etc it should not fall forward when you lower the motor out. Maybe put some weight on the tunnel if you think it may tip forward. Mine balanced perfect and is just sitting there waiting for the motor to go back in.
