where u guys getting this done and what are you paying?

got one cylinder that has a couple small marks in it other than that nothing wrong with the block....

any help is appreciated thanks guys

I sent my block to Millenium back in 04. I think it was their first ever RX1 block as they had to build a jig to do it. On a monoblock like the rx1 or nytro they have to strip the nicasil out of the whole block and redo all the cylinders. It cost over $500 back then .

Ken.....

Got my RX1 block done last year. Chuck sent to CVTech in Quebec, about the only place he deals with redoing the block. Heard mongoose can do it, but wasnt sugguest to me. So instead of going west, it went east across the country. Cost $750 including shipping both ways. After the dick around mongoose gave local dealer, I wont support them.

OK good to know...ya I heard about the quebec place.

How did u ship it? How long of a turn around?

We've sent 2 engines to them. He has a purolator account I think if I remember that he gives you the number for and you drop it off. For us they were pretty quick and did a really good job, took about 2 weeks. I'd recommend them.

I would not have Langcourt do my lawnmower engine. I used them for a while back in 1997-1998 range and they had to redo about 20 percent of the cylinders I sent in.

US CHROME
POWERSEAL
MILLENIUM
CV TECH

millenium technologies was $560 for my tphazer. They had to weld one of the cylinders and if only one cylinder needs replated, they do the rest. can't beat their lifetime warranty.

It was about a 2week turn around, that included shipping the block roundtrip. CV tech has been in around for along time. They also come out west to support the edmonton sled show. So figured that I would support them back.
