Nytro Chain Grenade

does anyone have (or know someone that has) a chaincase cover for a 2008 nytro mtx? we've got it and the other parts ordred but the cover is backordered.

HELP!

some thing i noticed was the nylon washer needs to be free of the bolt or else you think is tight chain i found backing the bolt off and freeing the washer then tightening was alot better!

Hey Jeff,

Sux about the chain...I'm going out to check mine ASAP.

As for the oil tank...common issue, unfortunately, and getting the tank replaced just means another tank that will fail. Get it welded by a professional welder and have them lay down some extra bead. Also, I had a backing plate welded onto the mount flange to eliminate flexing...if you tip onto the right side, the side panel flexes in and the weight of the sled is ALL on the tank.

thanks you guys...! both good tips. i've always been a little bothered by the vulnerability of the oil tank in relation to the side panel.

i'm still looking for a chaincase cover if anyone can find one or peel one off a sled that can sit for a few weeks while the backorder comes through.
