Alright guys, broke a chain on my 08 nytro While loading the sled last week. Got a new Proper length chain, cleaned everything up, inspected the case, etc. Just wondering if you fellas who have done this job a few time have any tips, tricks, or common mistakes to watch for? I'll be working off of a few pics and exploded views, as when I pulled the cover stuff fell out lol. Thanks guys!

i did a track change a few weeks ago and everything went smooth. even though allen explains everything well, i made sure to lay everything out in order of how i took it out to make things easier. if your sled has reverse some people have problems getting the forks to line up, i thought it was easy myself.

the only trick that really works is taking your time and not rushing to get it back together. The only thing you have to make sure is if you have reverse is to get the little spring back in the right location. it is one of the peices you heard hitting the bottom of the case when you took it apart.
Getting the reverse fork back into place can be pain. Last couple of times I had trouble with the case sort of binding when putting it back on. I now just reach my fingers in the side and push the chain out of the way as long as I can then the cover seems to slip right on. Took me a long time to figure out it was the chain catching the edge of the case.
Job can take 20 min or 1.5 hrs just depends on luck.

Beauty guys, thanks a lot! Once I quit stressing about all the parts, it pretty much just flew together. And your right, reverse fork took 3 attempts with a whiskey break in there! Things feel good now, I'll find out tomorrow if I did it right
