Nytro break in ?

Do you have to break in a 4 stroke? oil in gas? How long before I can start to rally this thing? thanks

too many opinions... boil down to what you feel most comfy with...no need for oil in tank...

There is a numerous amount of ways to break in an engine. I will put in my 2 cents of the most important things when breaking one in. FIRST AND MOST IMPORTANT. Let it warm up. Again let it warm up before going hog wild. 2nd try to vairy(sp?) your rpms dont just hold it wide open and dont just putt around. Engine break in happens your first ride period. I personnaly let them warm up, start out nice and easy so it gets too FULL temp. Then do 20mph hammer it to 70ish, let off the gas till around 20-30. putt around a little more(20-40) then hammer it again WFO for a good 30seconds at least let off throttle till 20-30mph run for a few minutes then shut it off. Wait about 15min. Rinse and repeat 3 or 4 times. your rings are now set. Enjoy.

Thanks for the help. I'm new to the fourstroke world. I knew about the varriation of throtle, but didn't know about stopping and letting it cool. thanks again

only real suggest Io have here, is to change oil after 200-500 miles...I also changed my chain case oil then too...

Let it warm up then get on it and ride it WFO from mile 1. The rings will seat better. Whatever you do I wouldn't baby it.

On mine i have done a few heat cycles before i ride it, like letting it idle for 10 min and then cool completely a few times. Then, on the first trip just ride it the way i would any other day, wide open runs, let it cool for a bit a few times and then just ride and have fun. Havent had a problem!

beat me to it.. broke my apex motor in like this and have yet to use any oil and runs like a scalded dog. broke it in with 10 lbs of boost.worked on n/w tour cars for years and all the motors wer broke in on dyno pulls. any motor ive ever had ive broke it in like i want it to run. knock on wood! havent had any problems yet!!!!
