Nytro and polaris 163 2.4 driver problems

It's a good track but it's 2.8 pitch so you need drivers that will work with it. Also I think your going to have problems trying to get it to stop slipping.

Had the same problems with my Nytro Turbo. Had Mountian Magic drivers with the center barrel and they ratcheded the track. Got a different set from mountain magic. Had to run the track exactly to yamaha spec. really tight until the drivers "wore in". Havent slipped since. The ones that I wrecked, once they slipped they were screwed. No matter how tight I ran the track they would slip.

Let me make sure I'm understanding correctly....

You are using Polaris' 163 2.4" track? You installed wahl's 3.0 pitch drivers and it is slipping on the drivers...or wanting to run on top of the teeth instead of having the teeth inside of the track?

If you answered yes, than the problem is very obvious. The drivers that Polaris uses are a new 2.86 pitch drivers. I know that is close to 3.0, but they will not work my friend. You need to buy some 2.86 pitch drivers and install, or a new 3.0 track to run.

Did you do this install yourself, or did your dealer? Owens...are you at all affiliated with Owens Cycle in Yakivegas?
