Nytro after market exhaust

I seen a Nytro up in Whirl Pool Lake last winter with a motor bike exhaust on in it. Does anyone know anything about doing this.

I was told the factory exhaust is not free flowing enough and that the after market exhaust will free up a little power?

The first link posted just previously is a vid of my sled in the garage before testing. Here's some more vids during testing....oh btw, it did free up power by installing this exhaust. I gained a consistent 200-300 rpms on top end !

what is the model#? what bike was it for? what is the inlet size? there is one cheap on ebay, trying to make sure it is the right one...

The exhaust system I bought was originally designed for a 2005+ Honda CBR 600/1000 RR. It's a Yoshimura RS5 Titanium slip on system, came with a Stainless mid pipe to fit the bike. I had a muffler shop up the road cut and weld the midpipe into an S shape so that the muffler would stick straight out the back instead of it being off to one side like the stock muffler. The midpipe diameter was an exact fit for the stock header too, and I used the stock muffler clamp to attach them. It's a bit of work getting it lined up and mounted to the heat shield below the seat, but it's well worth it ! I paid $180 for the system from a private seller on ebay, brand new in the box, retail was $450, so I feel like I got a good deal.

Thought I'd chime in here, I have the Yoshi on my Nytro (2nd Utube clip "wyatt west ranch". Mine is a Yoshimura slip on for a Honda CBR 600/ 1000 carbon fiber. I had a muffler shop make a little "S" pipe as well and it fit perfect. Had to make my own seat brackets (out of heavy duty "L" brackets) Worked great and have not failed. Same results as Nytromaniac more HP and 200-300 rpm on top.

Thanks, Mancos is an awsome play ground, killer riding and NO crowds.

After I was pleased with the results (power & sound), I had the muffler shop take another inch off the "S" pipe and lowered the angle a little bit. I may shorten it again, still playin around.

Another nice thing about this mod is you loose 14lbs for 250 bucks.

i went the under tunnel exhaust route. lincoln county customs (formerly tj's) has a pre fab unit ready to bolt in. you can eliminate the huge hole in the tunnel, lose some weight, get a good sound, not too loud, not too quiet. then i opted for an under tunnel exhaust equipped seat from mountain mod. eliminates the dog house, and all the rear plastic (even more weight), then in return gives you a LARGE storage area that the sled doesnt come with and gives you a slightly higher flat top seat. get some of the stuff not needed in your back pack off of your back. ski
