yesterday was out air fuel was running perfect. i have powerderlites stage two turbo kit. was in shop over night ,took it out today and idles fine around that 12.6 mark then when put under boost it is at 13 or so for the first time you pin it. then when i let off it goes to 17 and beyond. and will not come back down until it has idled for awhile. checked fuel pressure and it is sitting at 46. the line going into take it good. checked connections to the guage and also RB3.. so any help please would be appreciated..

what rpm are you pulling in boost? There is a new map released today that adds few around the 7000 rpm area. Your air fuel numbers will go high after you let off the gas, that is because you are not injecting nearly as much fuel into the engine but are still pulling in lots of air. How long does it have to idle before it comes down?

well on hard pack i cant bounce off rev limiter and 8500 or so in stubble and it idles for three or four seconds before coming back to normal. its just wierd becuase once it goes to that 17 then on the guage it goes --- because it is higher then that, it will stay that high no matter if i am pulling boost or putting around. it runs the same does not seem lean at all. like it is running exactly how it ran when my a/f was normal... could i have a bad guage?

You could have a bad sensor. Or you are getting moisture in the resistor/brains part of the sensor.

which sensor? like in the guage? and if so it has been fine until now for moisture but who nows i guess, stranger things have happened

The aem sensor has a caibrated resistor/chip right where the two plug in under your seat. It is right at the connection to connect the gauge wiring to the sensor.

Talk to jeff at Quantom in red deer,403-341-4012. He has been modifying those guages so they dont let in moisture.

checked connections and sensor nothing wet. but still doing the same thing looked for rubbed or burnt wires and nothing to be found. i heard if you run race fuel (leaded) it will shorten their life but have only ran av gas 4 or 5 around new years.

i had the same prob u guys r having i only run straight av i got 200 miles on it and it start being funny got new sensor fixed it aem sent me a new one
