Not another Klim story Sorry, I don't have any pictures, but just had to share this. Earlier in the year as some of you may have read. I took my Klim Tomahawk jacket out on the supermoto for 40 min in a rain storm on the track. It worked great.....blablabla Well, I tested it again.
Today, rain in the forcast and we decided to go dirbiking anyway. Well, it rained...ALOT! We rode steady for at least four hours through sand, mud and deep mud holes. You know, the kind of day you just keep smiling even though you can't tell what color your bike is anymore. Going through water so deep it is splashing over the height of your helmet when standing up. It was just a great day of woods riding.
Well, to say the least, I was perfectly dry all day. Not hot, not cold, just perfect. I am always impressed whenever I wear this stuff summer or winter. You can tell it is really thought out well. Riding hard through the woods. Never once felt like the jacket was even on. Never binding or constricting. Just moved with me. Obviously, designed to be in a riding position. I sure wish I would have been wearing some freeride pants though. My lower half didn't fair as well. Neither did my girlfriend.
So not to make this a Klim thread. What gear or equipment do you have that has really impressed you when you tested it to the extremes? Lets hear some of your fun stories.
