timbersled?
yep, same issue last season.
have 2 straps now.
How much air pressure are you running in your rear shock...
I've upped my pressure to 200 psi at riding altitude with the rear shock COMPLETELY unloaded ( I did this after talking to Budd at TS, and a couple of other boosted Nytro owners). This helps slow down the transfer. (the other option is to get the newer Float Evols with adjustable compression damping).
The key is to check your pressure with the rear of the sled COMPLETELY unloaded, and at altitude.
I'm running 150 psi but I still think it bottoms to easy IMO....I sent the shock back this summer to have it revalved and i think it is better but maybe i should try more air?? 200 is ok?? I dont think the pump goes that hi does it?? ....
I had this skid in my 1200 wc last year and it transfered too much too. I had to move the bottum of the rear shock forward 3/4 of an inch, just far enough so that the holes didnt overlap, like you would on a m10. I had to run less pressure after the change, from 200 psi to 125 psi. I had my rear shock revalved stiffer to alens specs, didnt help untill i moved that shock. I'm 300 lbs in my riding gear, but I had a 225lb guy on it and it bottuned out on him too.
