Nothing like a quiet day with a bunch of snowmobiles..

Nothing irritates me more than coming across them on the trail, slowing way down and waving, just to have them glare at me . Makes me wish I would have hit the throttle instead and made them jump out of the way, but I won't because it doesn't help our cause

The sleds had come and gone before that nut-hump finished his Granola Bar.

Same crap with dirt bikes--we come and go before they can wipe their a$$ but they still cling to the worn out cliches of "offensive smoke" and "wilderness serenity destroyed by noise", even for less than a minute.

BTW, on a really good day you might see a few Moose around Grand Lake and a few coyotes slinking around. Not exactly the wildlife zoo that these greenies wish for.

i know what you meen, i try and bee considerate, keeping the sled at a constant throttle just above engagement, and wave, when somebody glares i realy wish a had an attack 20 with no snoflap for em!!!

I have acutally talked to some co-workers who love the get towed out of this one canyon by people on sleds, so they can do it like a bunch more times, and then later in the converstation, she complained about the noise, i about flipped ****!! her suby with the rusted out exhaust is damn near as loud as my sled!! and you should see that thing puff smoke!!

Saw this hater on youtube..

While backcountry skiing near Montezuma, Colorado we encountered over a dozen snowmobile riders carving turns on delicate terrain, belching smoke, and scaring all the wildlife away with their loud noise - not to mention the complete waste of very expensive fuel. Disgusting!

Stop whining and go hike on the many acres of land you already got banned from us A-holes..

wow...so your telling me, the 15s it took for those sleds to drive by ruined your whole day and life.

yet its all good to take it away from us 100%...yep...gg greenies.

glad you greedy bastards can't get along, and these same ppl wonder why there are wars, or where they start.. ok thats the polite version.

"scaring all the wildlife away with their loud noise - not to mention the complete waste of very expensive fuel. Disgusting!"

hahaha this is a very funny thread. this guy is unreal! who wants to place bets on what he drives?

subaru
volvo
or saab? haha

were disgusting because we have vehicles with motors that we ride on snow, were probly going to hell because of it. oh and wildlife isnt scared of groups of skiers haha im glad this guy posted this footage and not the brokeback mountain stuff from the same day:)

I left my first two comments on youtube. This one and the one about Mt. Baker.

I want to know what these zeolits wiped there *** with that morning. You can bark at the moon, cry to the sky all you want. The reality is that we need sustainable resources get over it princess......MM611

Its kind of funny that these people were in the middle of the trail. Probably having lunch on sled tracks. As far as wilderness, Montezuma is not exactly Wilderness. Muli-Use area. If the guy wants wilderness, go to the wilderness.

Kind of ironic, last season that road up to Denny Creek area (Cottonwood Pass) was not plowed from Avalanche to Denny Creek. (Wilderness Access Trail Head) For a about a mile. X-Country skiers and snowshoers had to walk or skin on the groomed road and stage in the parking lot with all of the sleds. Got some glares, but I always talk to them real nice just to irritate them even more. Tell them Denny Creek is a great access for the wilderness. Gee, a motorhead that is actually nice. But,

Be nice to me I will treat you better, treat me bad and I will treat you worse.-SB

For Earth First, I cried like that when I hit a tree with my sled. But the tree had not comment and just dumped snow on me. No respect. I think I will build a house out of it.....:D

Someone needs to sign this guy up for BRC and SAWS.

I do a lot of hiking in the summer and I've scared WAY more wildlife hiking then I have snowmobiling. Sometimes they can't hear you coming, damn near gave a fawn a friggin heartattack one time.....pretty funny to see that thing scramble.
I wanna know how many of these fawkers bring their dog in with them and have no control over it while it chases the wildlife??? I'd say that's more damaging then a machine cause I've seen quite a bit of wildlife from my machine just stand and watch me from 50 yards away....they don't do that when I'm hiking.

had to watch to see if it was me...

Go past that exact spot all the time. Wasn't me though???? Pretty popular area for skiers...see them all the time but never anything but a "hi" and a wave?????

in the vidoe discription it says we scare the wildlife. hmmmm thats BS whenever the whiskey jacks hear the sleds they come flying and just wait for us to feed them. i honestly make anonther sandwich just for them.

i honestly make anonther sandwich just for them.

man those egg sandwiches are soo good.

i cant believe how many people are brainwashed, i worked with 2 tree hugger anti sledding guys for just shy of a year. both good guys but some days it was all i could do not to say somthing let alone quit. there is no way to win with them, they have their opinion and thats it.

oh yeah that fletching fcuk probably rides his segway around.

Someone should tell them that Montezuma is not a wilderness area. We are not allowed in wilderness areas. They are. Just makes me want to go up there this weekend. Maybe they can capture some good video footage for me.:D
