NOS + turbo

So I've seen a couple people talk about using nitrous to spool a turbo quicker. How's this work? I was under the impression nitrous could only be used when at full throttle so just pin it and hit the button and it reduces lag?

I've never used nitrous or a turbo, so any info will be enlightening. Thanks.

using an electronic controller like the nitrous express unit

or using simple pressure switch it can be done.

With the hobbs pressure switch you need to hook it with the throttle switch and a pressure switch in series.
This way the nitrous on only when you go to full throttle but is off when the boost goes over the set limit of the pressure switch.
