Hey me and my dad are looking at riding somewhere new and we thought about heading to utah. We are coming from southwest minnesota and I have never been to Utah so I was just wondering where some of the better places to ride would be in the northeastern part of the state. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I would suggest staying in Heber then you have a variety of places within 30 to 40 minutes, some even as close as 10.

What areas would you recommend riding out of Heber so I have some that I could look up possibly riding at? Thank you for the help

You will want to pick up a Trails Illustrated map for the Uintas and go enjoy the deep:D I am sure you know, but be sure everyone in your party has a beacon, shovel, probe and knows how to use them. This is key. Know how to use them. Know the snowpack conditions and avy danger.

Beacons go on your body, not in the pack. An avy can rip your pack off and if the beacon is in there...well you would be searching for a pack not a person.

I don't intend to belittle your avy/backcountry knowledge, I just want to help in you having a fun safe trip.

Enjoy, it is dumping right now!!!!!!
