Those canyons (major, mary, dry fork, mineral basin) are beautiful and rocky! If you take the 40,41 trails out of the tibble fork parking area catch the 157 (major north/south trail) there are all sorts of fun trails (forest lake, the 37) that are not near as rocky. most of these trails are still under at least 10 feet of snow

There are 2 trails that are my absolute favorite. I seriously could ride them back and forth all day long and be happy! But i hate running into people on them when i am pegged in 3rd/4th gear, so I'm not telling! But when you ride them you will know!

Also 5 mile pass is west of Lehi, not to be confused with 5 miles of hell which is down by green river.

i put some race fuel (all i had at my house) in my bike and she fired up on the 3rd kick. Im guessing yours should do the same.

You want an oil change? air filter? I got nothing better to do... Im taking mine to the car wash today and then will put on the kickstand, hand guards, and spark arrestor.

Chubbydog - driving down to lil sahara friday night (arrival 8:00pmish), getting drunk all night.....and riding all day saturday. I have a 2008 black 3/4 chevy with an black alum topper.....and a light grey 22' enclosed trailer....ill hosit a small lakers flag on the trailer and stuff a jazz jersey down my pants;)......the bikes: 08 ktm, 07 honda, 06 yami, 07 rapter 700
 
its an enclosed trailer, i use cheap ratchet straps from Harbor Freight, they carry several styles, the ones I use are bright orange and just as strong as name brand stuff, the trailer came with pad eyes in the floor, i also use some home made stuff, ill take pics of that tomorrow
 
So how was the sand this weekend? I really hope the valley smoothes out at the top this year, I have a bunch of ney sayers that need to go to the top in the dodge.....we'll be out there this weekend, white sands, come have a beer...
 
the condtions were great, smooth as glass, most high pitch peaks had bottomless soft sand, the type that sucks your front tires in and down to the folks if you break going down hill.......good times!!

my bikes gets a tire chalk, real cheap, i think they cost 15ish bucks from Rocky Moutain......my buddies bikes just chalk up against the wood door that comes down to load and unload toys

The sand was smooth, but arse backwards! We need a good wind from the south to turn them the right direction. Coming from the north, there was a 2' drop off every dune. Instead of jumping up every dune and landing on the backside, you were rolling up the dune, and dropping down onto it. It was fun the first couple times, then got old in a hurry.

Other than that, great weather, smooth sand, and cold beer. Cant ask for much more eh?

do i have to come over to your office and smack you! :D Look out the window right now! Snowbird reported 15" last night and calling for another 2-4" this morning... seek and you shall find! the high uintas have awesome snow!
 
Went to Moab for a few days…..70-90 degree temps, better than the summer but still hot as hell. No pics of poison spider trail as we had trouble……this freaking trail is not much fun for a bike IMO, big rocky climbs and dragin the bike up and over stuff, smoked a new soft tire on all those big rocks, looked at my triagle knobs and said “screw it” why not smoke the thing completely doing sand donuts for 20 minutes:D……blah blah blah, pics below
