North Routt base is slim with an ice layer and lots of stumps and stuff still sticking out of the snow. Got some snow on sunday night and a bunch of snow today.
A buddy of mine triggered an avy yesterday just east of Farwell, but was able to ride out of it. Despite digging a pit for analysis and giving it the ok, conditions are just too variable to make the steep stuff safe to ride right now. Conditions will be good after this storm wraps up, but be careful of instability and stumps.
