North Idaho Riding?

Hi all, I'm coming down from Alberta to Coeur D'Alene on the 13th to pick up a sled. I was just wondering if there is enough snow anywhere from there north to be worth a ride. We mainly boondock and climb, as few trails as possible. If anyone could let me know how the hills are looking and suggest a few places to go it would be greatly appritiated. Cheers.

If you can back your trip up a month or two, your chances would be better to ride in N. Idaho. Cold temps the last few days but no snow. I don't think any area up here in the North is ready to ride yet.

I would seriously doubt that you could even pull off a decent road ride by the 13th of November let alone off trail riding. Our season really doesn't get going until early to mid December.

Lookout

lookout pass has some snow @ 17". It's on the idaho border, maybe it's to far out of your way. There's more snow coming through the week and all weekend so you could do a road ride but thats about it.

lookout and the mullan area is getting dumped on. i heard around 3 feet of fluff. make for a good road ride to take those nerves away until a good base sets up.
