Normal to get a bubble in the line after storage ?

Is that the line coming out of the bottom of the oil tank? I noticed in the middle of riding season last year i had the same bubble in my line. I just left it and nothin has happened yet. Some more input would be nice though.

Yesir , line off the oil tank. I'm not overly concerned about it , but I am curious as to where the air would be coming from.

Thermal expansion of the hose lines from summer temps? I donno, maybe opened up enough to let a little bit of air in?

I've seen this before on one of my Pros. I put the sled on its right side with the oil reservoir cap slightly cracked to allow the air bubble to work its way out of the tank.

alot of sleds had the air bubble in the line last year

i had one on my assault!! and i recommend getting the air out

what i did to remove mine was
a pair of needle nose pilers and gave the line a squeeze(behind the bubble) and pushed the bubble into the tank!

was never seen again

I put a pin hole on the inside of my oil cap so it doesn't create any suction affect and keep the oil from flowing

I've debated my decision a lot but havn't had any issues with bubbles, ever

I have read that the check ball in the cap is suspect to not venting on some sleds.
I have to wonder if something as simple as a bad cap could lead to some of the larger issues.

Exactly why I put the hole on the inside of my cap.

Kinda surprised a company hasn't come out with an aftermarket one

Just wondering are you guys going to bleed it after you roll it over on the side of a hill "think with your dipstick jimmy"
