Non-Ethanol stations in Poky

Just an FYI for anyone riding out of Pocatello. Saw the banner that said 'Ethanol Free' at the Sinclair on Oak St. today. As far as I know the Sinclair (Ward Oil) on S. 5th street is also Ethanol free. Not sure if they are owned by the same company, but Ward Oil said they are holding out on Ethanol as long as they can. Post up any other places if you know of them please!

The Sinclair in Rexburg is ethanol free to. The owner said Sinclair had some kind of exemption that they did not HAVE to switch to ethanol like everyone else.

No more ethanol free fuel

I just talked to a gal at Ward oil and she said they are no longer ethanol free. It is manditory now and they are just waiting on there stickers to put on the pump.

I'm going to check into the sinclair on Oak st. and the Phillips 66 on poline, but it don't look good for clean gas

Don't know if it's true or not, but I was told that sinclairs will have an ethanol free "premium", but it's only 88 octane. I hope this is not true!

I hope so too ^^^. Filled up on Oak St. this morning. Their 'No Ethanol' banner was still up. Not sure how valid it is. 88 Oct. is good for me. Just want good fuel.

The clerk at Sinclair on S 5th said the Sinclair on Oak Street was the last station getting Ethanol Free trucked in and that the rest are being supplied from the Tank Farm that is ethanol. I noticed today that the Sinclair in Lava has Ethanol Free stickers on thier 91 Octane, so might be a good option when going out towards Soda.

Added the Sinclair on Oak. ^^^ Anyone know about the Village Mart in Inkom? We have filled up there a couple times. Sinclair IIRC.

Pass ^^^ lol. I've watched people try to fuel up there for diesel and it takes about 3 times as long to fill up. I'll stick to Poky.

FYI for anyone going to Alpine: I went there on Sunday and every station now has ethanol. I asked the cashier in the Sinclair and she said they were the last to switch over to the ethanol junk. This is unbelievable for a snowmobile town like Alpine!

I just verified today that Conrad & Bishoff, on N. Holmes, in Idaho Falls sells non-ethanol gas. Didn't look at the price, but it can't be as bad as what Country Corner on the corner of 1st St. and Ammon Rd. charges (3.99 gal) and the pump for the non-ethanol is really really slow. Usually takes almost 10 min to get 5 gal.

it doesnt take as long! you just gotta know how to use our high tech diesel pumps! :face-icon-small-ton haha you just have to stop pumping and let it build up pressure then its just as fast

Yeah, Oak St. is like that too on gas and diesel. Just take it out right after you first start pumping, wait a few seconds, and start again. Walla! Fast fueling. Good new on the other stations still running non-ethanol ^^^^.

Better get your hands on some quick... All the non-ethanol fuel in Poky has dried up. Can't find it anywhere now... Like it happened just over night!!

A buddy of mine told me just last week that the Sinclair on Oak has there Ethanol free signs up. I'll have to go check it out.

He's right... Just filled up there this morning, however the only completely ethanol free fuel at this location is premium. Mid grade contains 5% and regular is the usual 10%.
