No tss

I have looked all thru my shop manual and either I am blind or they left that part out . I believe that the tss goes in the hole in the throttle block but mine is missing just like in the manual . I also went to babbits online to see the part and I could not find it there .
Is this some kind of sick joke or am I loosing my mind ?

On the 2011/12's it is part of the Kill switch part #.

Yes I found it and I get no reading out of the tss with the kill switch up ,when I push it down I get a reading of 2 .No change in tss when pushing button. I am thinking it is no good ? Now is there a way to jump out at the wire connector and not screw anything up ? I sure hope this is my problem .

Not to derail your thread but has anyone replaced the TSS with a 2 ohm resistor?

Beamslayer... the TSS and Kill switch are not connected on any of the PRO Rmks.

On a 2012 if you need a new TSS you'll also get a new kill switch. I just bought one for a friend.

Can a 13 throttle block and kill switch be put on a 12?

Throttle block... yes.

Kill switch... yes...BUT... you would have to lengthen the wires to the TSS and use a Ski Doo Summit kill switch support

OR

Buy a 2013 kill switch with mount and remove the TSS from the 2012 and put it in the 2013 block.

The 2012 TSS is different than the 2011/12... different resistance.
