Poo is limiting the 163 to the Pro to steer peeps towards the higher margin sled, while keeping their overall costs down, figuring they won't lose sales, same thing with the belt drive. They think they win on three fronts - keep overall costs lower, keep per sled margin higher, and not lose any sales to a competitor.

I have a 2012 ProRMK 155 in Michigan. I rode outwest about as much as I did Mi last year. Here are my findings. Running on the trail in MI to get to the good stuff I have to have the scratchers down. Temp goes from 160 t0 129 in about 100 yards. That is amazing. Love just about everything else about my pro. I even happen to like the protaper bars. Just wish adding the front cooler at snowcheck would have been an option.

Now next time I will consider the standard. I have an 08 600RMK standard and it is a great sled on or off trail. I don't mind the standard bar set-up either. Just have been looking at it since 08 so I wanted something different with the 2012. My wife rides the 08 sled now and she loves it. Never really concerned with overheating on that one.
