No reverse, cuts at PTO, 1 blink in check engine

OK so you beep tested it but did you wiggle the wires at the connector to se if the beep was constant.

Did a lot of wiggeling today.. No sign of broken connections.
found isolation cracked on wires on the regulator rectifier.. Pulled the fuel line and ran compressed air trough the "fuel rail"

Try new start-up tomorrow..

Also I found 2 red wires with white stripe crimped together by someone.. I don't know jet why or what also 2 brown wires were done the same with.

Pics of wires.. Going into that connection to regulator[/QUOTE

The red and brown splices seem ok...they are probably the power points identified in the wiring diagram a little to the right of the bottom center.

Btw...the orange wires in the sled side of the connector are the sandwiched brake wires I was referring to earlier if you ever have problems that aren't related to a burned bulb or bad switch.

Rectifier..
Isolation broken..
Anyone know any measure tests for this one?

What would a engine with a broken crank seal run like?
I mean the inner crank seals..

I have seen them run fine...just use a lot of oil and oil level will drop when sitting if above the center oil line.

If you look in polrmk's wiring thread you will find some tests that can be made on the VR...

The TPS pigtail pn is: 2203165
