No pistons avail for the 13s??

I was going to put new top ends in my 13 pro 800, but my dealer says there are none available??

This of course, is after I have the engine out and apart.

He said they are back ordered until an undetermined date.

So, does your dealer have any?

Good aftermarket options?

I tried MCB, but they are out of dual ring pistons until sept.

I think I could get Wiseco's, but it seems like as many people hate those as those who love them.

Were can I get pistons???

RK tek has great drop in pistons for cheaper than stock ones. Better fit, more reliability than stock pistons.

I heard that the 14's are getting new rings so I am wondering if the pistons will be back ordered until the new replacements (with the new rings) are available around July?? I am assuming this after Iwas told the new quickdrive belt also will be available in July.

Go with RK tek and never look back. Only downside is no longer have engine warranty but not likely to have an issue with good pistons.

Maybe I should mention i bought it from a rental gig last week.

I put 130 miles on it in the mtns then brought it home. Thought i would go through it and make sure its ready for the next season.
