No Joke Snowmobiling as we know it will cease to exist!!!!

We need to stand up and be heard, seen and accounted for. This will end snowmobiling in the Crescent Lake, Lemola Lake, Diamond Lake, Mt. Baily and Lake of the woods areas. Some of the best if not the best snowmobiling areas in the western states will be gone.

Check this out and do what you can:

Just sent a email to Senator Wyden. I'm not real good with words so I was hoping someone could write a note people could just copy and paste in the form that he offers. Here is the link to drop him a email.

This is what I wrote I hope it helps:

"Mr. Wyden just dropping you a note to say I strongly oppose the new proposed Crater Lake Wilderness boundaries. I'm a avid snowmobiler and I work hard to keep our public lands clean and accessible. I'm tired of small groups of so called "environmentalists" dictating how we can use our public lands. Thanks for your time."

they don't want much do they? isn't diamond peak, crater lake, mt thielsen enough wilderness for them??? almost forgot the wilderness around the fish creek area. remember when clinton was in office and they had the same thing going for the diamond lake/bailey area. where am i supposed to ride my new sled??? sent my email so hopefully that will take care of it!!!

Here's The letter we sent to Wyden

Senator Wyden, When will enough be enough to further restrict the public from public lands? We are avid Snowmobilers, ATV Riders, Snowshoers and Cross Country Skiers who enjoy access to these areas by these different means. If you close off these areas to Mechanized modes of transportation you also close it off to the disabled and the majority of the people who you are supposedly representing. Please give deep thought to what this proposal includes and who it excludes. Once again, When will enough be enough? The answer is never and the groups backing this proposal will continue to push until access is limited to our Public Lands to the very select few. Dan & Rhonda Gilman

Well said Dan. Did Rhonda write that for you? Whatever it takes. :D

Well with all the white lines breaking it up ( Roads) It give us some power to fight this. This does not look like it meets the "intent and description" of wilderness... I will start there and fight it too. Damn selfish greenie bastards.
