No gauges, speedo nada

My buddy just bought a used 05 MXZ 800 and we took her for a spin today. I am a cat guy so I know nothing about the doo's but figured you guys could help. He fired her up and a beeper went off which I suppose was to tell him the oil was low since it was. Shut the sled down, filled her up and fired it back up now the gauges are dead. Now, I know the oil low had nothing do did with this but I was thinking that there was or might be a fuse or something that got blown? The gauges were working fine then bam no flickering on and off nada.. Just gone.. Any idea's? We didn't look for a loose connection which it could be but thought I would ask here before we set out on our search. Thanks

I wasn't really paying attention but I am pretty sure they do.

Nope not an e-start and I verified that the headlights and tail lights are working.

no battery model's have two fuses, there are in line in the wiring harness, open the pto side panal, look up twords the dash area. check those. also make sure the guages themselves are plugged in all the way.

Thanks, I will take a look tomorrow and let you know how I make out. Appreciate the suggestion..

I will say this sled is fast, pulls hard and takes the bumps extremely well. Almost makes me want to change sides.

Also can check the lines under the fuel tank and to the rear light as they have been know to short out and give the similiar problems

Also might want to check the button on the tach. if it is stuck in it can cause the same problems.

Found the problem. Apparently one of the fuses on the left side under the dash worked loose and disappeared.. problem solved.. That was way to simple.
