No Fricken way! Not Me Man!

I can't even watch that. Man I have been underwater 350 ft crawling around in the pitch black, no problem. There is not a chance in he#@ I would climb up there.

Those old towers are not legal to construct anymore, OSHA requires fall protection to be used when working at heights. That video was removed from the internet years ago and has now resurfaced. Yes, it is crazy to watch though.

wear a parachute~ who cares then~ could even be fun

The engineers who designed these towers must have twisted minds! That is so dangerous I could barely watch it

I remember that it was removed also. Still cool to watch.

It's not legal to free climb on THAT tower, there is a ton of information and mis-information out there about this video.

Would it be with 2 lanyards? (100% tie off)

I am guessing "No" because on many of the rungs, the lanyard cannot be securely fastened?

There are various other ways to achieve 100% tie off. The two obvious ones are a ladder climbing safety system or vertical life line. I would love to see their rescue plan (also an OSHA requirement) to get an injured worker down from that height....crazy.
