I have ran it for three years. Your question has many factors to consider....type of system (wet/dry), how aggressive of a shot, are you a tuner? Got EGT's? I had a true wet system, 40 shot, once I realized it required EGT's to know what was going on I had it dialed in and it flat out ROCKED!!!! Only problem........dang bottle was always too small.

anyone know the effects on the motor? and do you notice a significant gain?

Wet system, 40 shot, 800 rpm gain! Nitrous is hard to clutch for in a mountain sled. Even though you get the over rev, the torque increase is awesome. Nitrous is not for everyone though......you can burn one down right quick if not tuned well or encounter problems!!

Nitrous is like booze, a person can go a lifetime without any problems or it can turn into a nightmare. The dry kits like boondockers and boss are pretty easy to install and tune. The new boss kits sound real nice and use a wet style which is usually safer and provides a more consistant hit.
EGT guage is a MUST with any kit though.
