who you rootin for?

EAST:

(1) Boston Vs. (6) Carolina = 'CANES!

(2) Washington Vs. (4) Pittsburgh = CAPS!


WEST:

(2) Detroit Vs. (8) Anaheim = Repeat of 2003! :cool:

(3) Vancouver Vs. (4) Chicago = Tough choice but, probably the Blackhawks!

I think the Hawks/Nucks series has the potential to be one of the best of the whole playoffs regardless of who wins... these teams are very evenly matched, imma go out on a limb and say Hawks in 7... and whoever wins that series will promptly get beaten by the wings cuz they are gonna be tired and worn out fromt he 7 game series while the wings I think are done in 5 games... they will be well rested...

Wow, you're not even close. (jk)

East: Boston will kick the canes to the curb. The Canes are going to have to play alot better to beat Boston. Boston is like New Jersey on crack. I don't think anyone in the east is getting around Boston.

Washington over PIttsburgh. Momentum is in the Washington corner after coming back from 3-1. It'll be the better east conference series of the 2.

West:
Canucks needed the rest. They won't have a problem with the layoff. Chicago won't make it past Canucks big defense and the best playoff goalie so far this season. Chicago will be good for the next few years based on their core of young talent. Khabibulin is the goalie of yesterday. The Sedins, Burrows and Kesler will have him figured out right from the start. Canucks in 5.

Detroit vs Anaheim: this will be a good series but Detroit is just such a well rounded team. THey are the toast of the west and will ultimately take Anaheim out. Anaheim already won it's Stanley Cup by punting the President's Cup winners in the first round. They will look very average against Detroit.
 
Boston is easily the class of the east. Bruins in 5
Pittsburgh will beat caps in 7 (better Goalie)
Anaheim has the best defense of any team left ducks in 6

Gonna sweep up the windy mess in Chitown! Nucks in 4! Saves money if I don't go to game 5. All about the dough!

I didnt predict chicago to pull it off. I am cheering for them though probably.

plus, chicago is an old team..first time advancing since what '96? I like Vancouver and I kinda do have a gut feeling they will take the hawks in 6 in the end but, im still rootin' for the underdog! :cool:

since Boston beat my favorite team in the east, I think they will be the team in the Cup finals... I dont know if Carolina can get past them..

I wouldnt mind any of the teams playing in the Cup finals except for Pittsburgh.

Ben Eager is a POS 4 different Canucks wanted to fight and he won't go? He runs all over the ice like a tazmanian devil and then turtles??? Thought there was only 1 Avery in da league!

i guess that's one way to look at it... the other would be to say that he was being taken advantage of by the home ice refs... he was getting beat up pretty bad, took some shots on a couple guys and got whistled for it... but did the nucks get whistled for it... not so much...

one things for sure about last nights game... late in the game the hawks still have their legs... this series goes 7 games, nucks probably will win it, but its not gonna be the cake walk some make it out to be...

I sit 10 rows behind the benches and Eager was talkin and chirpin the whole game about who wants to dance etc. then he turtled. Not complaining about anything else. The wimp should back up his mouth! Rick Rypien would knock him into his retirement, Got Gold Gloves?
