Nextech monoskid

Got one on my 1100T 310 Evo super chute kit, great wheelie control, light, I am still playing around to get my ski pressure where I want it, but when you are on the power it is great! Bumps on the trail..... awesome. I have about 700 miles on it no complaints yet.

So you're saying it has more ski pressure than you want now? I'm looking for something that will ride well and control ski lift without feeling like an M10

Currently it has a little more than I would like (not much but a little) on the trail and loading etc, it corners like no ones business though. I have the new ski pressure adjustment addon ($80) I just haven't got it in yet. Looks like 4-5 different settings for adjusting the ski pressure. Really looking forward to that, I think I will be able to dial it in perfect.

do you have the full cf new one or the older style.

Uncoupled is better boondocking in the trees. Kind of curious why burandt didn't run it again on his new lightweight build. It looks to be 5 pounds lighter than the one he ran in his turbo. He said it was burandt approved but he is using the stock skid with arc, nextech rails, and alternative impact arms and bolt kit. Irregardless it is the nicest looking skid out there by far.

Because the he couldn't use or promote his burandt approved float 3 rear shock kit!!!!

Agreed. Burandt rides what makes money for him. He swore cat was the best sled until Polaris wrote a bigger check. I wouldn't put much faith in his personal set up since it's motivated by money.

I know what you guys are saying on the pay check. I just wondered if it doesn't work as good in the trees because it is a coupled skid. His skid that he threw in came in at about 36 pounds. Not sure if that was with arc installed. He could have saved almost 7 more pounds. I think arc is the best of both worlds. I am not trashing on this suspension at all. I would love to try one. With a skid this expensive a person should ask questions like this. Also curious on how much testing it has with their version of the t motion and on what sleds?

36 lbs dam that arc must be heavy? I run the float setup with titanium arms, on stock rails on my pro I've got it down to 32 lbs with no scratcher and lots of titanium bolts.

I would like to use the nextech skid but there's $2500 difference between what I have already. That's a lot of money!!!!! And I don't run turbo so I don't need it.

The aluminum nextech is 2800, how much do you have into yours if you don't mind sharing?

About $2400 what's aluminum nextech skid weigh? I assume your putting this on your propex? Your timbersled won't do the job?

Yes the cost difference is big between the carbon and aluminum version.
