Hay day's is crazy I can not believe all the peps and venders. There was so many people there is no way to see every thing. The cool things I saw was first cat guys ray at Black diamond has made us a new filter cage for the turbo. My understanding is OVS and push will be selling with there kits this year It very light and looks very clean Love it. Next was the new 2995 pump gas kit from Push finally a entree level kit very affordable. There are so many other things in the works also but can not release yet.

The other is when a company starts working with ray at Black diamond he is going to make you some cool and innovating products. The Yamaha guys will love these. First is a 35lb reduction on the skid offered through Yamaha dealers along with a new Pump gas kit at 3995 that does not void you warranty or a supper charger for the same price very cool its about time that a OEM started working with the aftermarket guys and offer there product and then stand be hind them. Black diamond is also making a new steering post assemble that changes the the steering to more like the cats straight up and down so you are not lifting and pushing you just push and pull. I hope that make sense but its cool.

It was nice getting to meet you there. Always good to put a face on a name. I was the guy there with his brother that had the strippes t**** and had a pair of 2010 m8s that needed to run at low elevation. That pump gas kit sure did look pretty sweet and you cant beat the price for getting into a turbo kit.

So when we talked you said that it would be possible to run the pump gas kit at low elevation at say 4lbs and throw in some race gas. Would it be possible to use say use AV gas and run say 2/3 av and 1/3 prem. I live like 10 miles from an airport and close to 60 to the closes place that will get in race gas.
 
Ave VS race

Yes ave is fine we just prefer lead based for the added lube and cooling. Just start high on the Octane then work you way down I do not what Octane is the ave my guess is you will want about an 95 but you will just have to play with it.

Is it a complete kit or do you need to purchase clutching, gages, etc separate, like some of the other kits out there. IF so how much? What fuel controler is being used? Boost level? boost adjustability/upgradeability?


Also with some of the not so hot reports on last years push kits what has been done to improve performance and fuel controler issues? There was a lot of hype last year then ....

Sounds encouraging. Sure be nice to see some price wars with the turbo kits / companies. I've felt for awhile they are priced higher than necessary....even with companies attempting to re-coup R & D costs. JMO

Kit come without clutching or O2 or egt but does come with fuel, oil and boost and pod.there is a race kit update but it primarily a 5-8 Lb kit and it rips. Its a sleeve bearing turbo not ball bearing so it comes with a new heavy duty pump. I ran this turbo 2 years ago on my wife's sled and its a hoot as far as pump gas it a ball I like it better than a Garrett. He will be using the dolbeck box. I figure we can install and clutch and egt for around 3995.

You know I loved my kit last year so I am unaware of the issues other than not being able to contact ken and he is working out those details.


So what are the details on this kit? It's about 1K less than anyone else out there. M1000 turbo

No lower priced M1000 pump this year mainly because of time and all other things he is working on. Yes you are correct on the m1000 needing high volume pump.



So... will he produce a lower priced pump kit for the 1000? THeoretically we should just be able to upgrade the turbo itself and run on pump gas correct? THe 1000 needs a new fuel pump yes?
