There is some deep snow up there if you're willing to look for it. For those looking for current conditions here are some pictures.

Nice shots. It's great to see you riding so close to home. That's awesome!!!
Great way to celebrate the New Year.
Went back up New Years Day. Still finding lots of untouched snow. Also saw a couple of sleds that got themselves in a tight spot. With the warm temperatures and riding a lower elevations, the snow really started to get wet and heavy. Here are the updated photos:
Here is the tight spot. On our way out, we saw these 3 machines down in a hole. No way to go down from where they're at and a pretty steep climb to get back out. Looks like they'd left them to go get some help. Hope they get them out of there alright. The picture doesnt show how steep it is.
That last picture is pretty scary. All three sleds are smack dab in a HUGE avalanche run out!
Beautiful shots...any copyright infringement if I add to my desktop?
Glad to see some deep stuff out there!
Wish I was in town to ride with ya... might head up there tomorrow who knows
Yeah, that doesn't look like such a great spot to hang out.
Were you able to get around to the front side of timp? Or was the road around the west side already blown over with snow?? good to see some great pow that way......fairview is still bottomless
We did get all the way around. The most wind blown spot was the north side where those 3 machines were in the hole. Out front in the meadow at the end of the road, there was about 3 feet...all untouched.
Ok, now I see where you were at. We ride AF all the time and none of those picture were looking familiar. We never go over that way. We usually go toward Cascade Springs, and sometimes work our way over to the Ant Knoll.
Thats a pretty good ride to cascade springs and over to Ant Knoll/Poleline pass...but at least it's groomed. Riding those bumps from tibblefork up to Poleline pass can sure get old fast.
