NEW YAMAHA SLED for 2010!

Huh. Website shows a 162" track is all there is for "new" in the mountain sleds. Otherwise the new SRX looks kind of cool in the black paint, but it's a short track only and all they did was stuff the apex motor in the nytro chassis by the looks of it. Not sure why they didn't do the same thing for the mountain Apex though. Can't click on any of the models for more info though for some reason...

Yes, the Vector was put into the Apex chassis................whats your point? The Vector engine was a 120...........not the 130 stated. The ad insinuates a Vector with an FX (130HP Fuel injected) engine, not the 120HP carbureted Vector engine.

I was watching a recorded Snowtrax this morning and thier snocross Nytro engine was supplied from the factory with "10-15%" more hp. That would put it at 152-158hp (138hp on the '09s). I'd line up for one of those!

a friend of mine has a 800 renegade xp, and it is a very quick sled. He was at some drag races and a guy had apparently a stock nytro, it was in every class and won every class....he would destroy anything. Now ive seen "stock" nytros and their performance is around a new 600-700, so this thing must have has some mods brought over from automotive tuning. The judges didnt know anything about it so it could have had its heads shaved, headers, a polished head or anything like that so it could have easily had 160 or more hp if it was in the 1000 mod. This was a small town race so a 1000 mod would probably have just a pipe....

Ya so It is intresting that there is a 2020 model overview on the yamaha site even though it didnt show nothing when i looked on it but did anyone else notice in the pic posted that the front spindels looks like an xp and the skis look like ski-doo's as well.
