new yamaha ski

Was at the edmonton snowmobile and atv show yesterday, i am soon going to be picking up a 10 nytro mtx, does anyone have any experience with the new ski yamaha is offering, i was told they came out late last season, its wide at the front like a simmons but tapers down looks like it may be a good thing.

I havent any first hand experience but I have herd it makes steering really easy, but you sacrifice a bit of control on the trail. and I think they weigh half as much as a stock ski... I am considering a set once I get the scoop on them.

And I second that. I talked Yamaha into taking them back.

X3. Not much talk out there on these because they were late getting on the snow last season. Having tested them as well, I concur with Roest, as did others on other forums. They are a dud that you will see fade away as soon as inventory dwindles. That is my prediction anyway.
