Hello all,
My cousin (sidehil) bought a new viper with the turbo kit. We were able to get in a quick ride before the project started to install the turbo. We did about 38 mile that day and wanted to get a feel for the new sled before the turbo went on. Here is the question/concern i have. The sled flat would not rev up past about 8000 rpm when riding. We know all about the break in procedures and the 300 miles before normal throttle, but shouldn't it still rev up past 8000 rpm when riding? Is the computer limiting the engine rpms before proper break in or am I missing something? Could not find anything in owners manual about this. Thanks Terry G (Geezer)
