Finally someone decided to use a ball joint instead of a tie rod end. Yay!

Skinz, are you seeing this?

On heavy impact something has to give and I prefer it is not my frame............

I should have mine next week from what I hear and installed next week if everything goes right! and I think they look sick... They addressed some of the issues I didn't like last year especially the shock spacers

Why did they change them from last year? What is better about the new style?

Looks good but I think Skinz is still the way to go since they actually change the shock angle as well. Diamond-S, Z-Broz ect all have +3 front ends but you still end up with vertical shocks. Converting shock to spherical ends is expensive but IMO, it's the correct way to run a "forward" a-arm.

Is'nt a change in shock angle just a different way to tune the shocks? I would imagine changes in damping and spring could get similar (enough) results.

Daimond S says there 2" forward arms use stock shocks.

These are sweet looking in person and address a few problems that the old ones had. If looks are all you care about, then I can hook you up with my old ones. I did not care for the ground clearance of the old ones, when you landed hard from riding, they would cause the snow to push the belly pan into the primary clutch.

My issue is pure cosmetic , i just dont like the looks of it . I do like the fact that the shocks dont have to be changed . I would like to know if ground clearance has changed from last years design.

I think only the wider arms did. Not the 40" ones here.
