New Trailer

Nice trailer! Consider changing the wheels before they even get wet. The white painted wheels rust the day they come out of the paint booth!
Correct answer. You have a beautiful trailer there. But those rims will look like crap after sometime goes by and you will be crabby.:mmph:
FYI. Always have TWO spares.

I know, I know, but that is barely on the to-do list this year. Maybe next summer.

As far as being crabby, I'm always crabby. :face-icon-small-win Ask 801.

Here is a pic of the new trailer hooked up to my truck. I just picked it up from the dealer and was headed home with it.

Off to a good start.
PLEASE report back on what you think of your new trailer once you have had some time to walk through it and get to know it.

Just got back from my first trip with the new trailer. Man, this thing is nice, in particular, the furnace. I just love getting dressed in a warm trailer and having it warm when we come back to undress.

Pulled a lot better than the X-Box I had last season and this thing is twice as long. I also got the same fuel mileage as I did with the X-Box. Gotta love an aluminum framed trailer. Don't think I'll ever go back to a steel framed trailer.

Does this mean that you ran your furnace on the way to the mountains and left it on while you were riding?

No, I turned it on as soon as I parked and then turned the T-stat down and left it on while we were out riding. It didn't take much time to heat it up initially.

How's are u liking the trailer, anything u would do different, and what flooring do u have? I am looking real hard at a mission 8.5 x 29' low boy.

I love it, I'll never go back to a steel framed trailer. I ordered it with the extreme weather and boondocker packages. I believe the boondocker package includes the "quad-ply" flooring. It's awesome, carbide resistant and you can walk up/down the ramps with out slipping and falling on your azz.

Although, I'm having them work up a build sheet for a 24' (32' overall) gooseneck trailer. It's what I wanted initially, but with a sled on snow check, I had to watch the cost. If the GN is more than I care to spend, I'll have no regrets keep this trailer.

FYI, I get the same fuel mileage hauling 3 sleds with this as I did hauling 2 sleds in a steel framed enclosed two place trailer.

Do these work better for you???? LOL

MFG upgraded the wheels to these for free along with new tires while they had it for some warranty work.

Thanks, I was also looking at a 38' GN. They are little out of my price range. So I will be going back to a bumper pull. Are u happy with the fit and finish and what warranty work did u need to get done?
