New top end for the M1000

Upon pre winter inspection, my buddies M1000 has a scuffed piston on the PTO side. Not a big surprise, it has some miles on it.

Is Millenium still the way to go for refinished cylinders? Any other suggestions for refinished cylinders and pistons? When I did my M7 years ago I used all Cat parts and sent the cylinder to Phoenix I think.

Then I think we will just go with Cat parts for the gaskets, O-rings and probably a new crank seal on the PTO side.

The engine has probably 1500 miles on it. Has pipe/can PCV. Any other suggestions? I am hoping it is pretty straightforward like my M7 was.

you can re use the O rings no problem if you like and i have a good used cyl for 175 shipped. I would use cat pistons and with that low of miles i would even re use the seals if they look like they are in good shape. Millenium will get the job done for sure just take a few weeks unless you want to pay the extra 50 for faster turn around.
