new to the dark side

Well i broke down and did it, 20114 assault 155, jaws can, electric start, 560 on to odo, 20.4 hrs, ill get some pics up later, cant figure it out on my tablet. So where do i start, any things to look for?

kinda depends on what kind of riding you do. but first thing i would do is 36" or at least pro front end.

We do mostly boondocking, some hill climbing, but not mountain climbing if you understand what i mean by that. Read to add about an oz of oil to gas tank per gallon of gas as the oil pump is set lean from factory. I am about 2-3000 ft where i ride at

or you can turn the oiler up a bit. some people vent the oil tank or use a skidoo cap as well

Comp track (2.25, harder) or 5.1 (2.4)?

Gearing, doo oil cap, or some other vented cap, enjoy the crappola out of it.

If your skis start to jart from the rubbers being blown, doo pads work better on the stock skis, especially if you're running narrow or wide. The front end width, approach angle, all up to you, where you ride.

Along with what he said, i put c&a rubbers on mine, you have to cut a couple ribs out of the skis

Unfortunately its the harder track, im going to ride it with that track this year amd see how it is, what year doo cap works? Im coming off an apex, so i would assume this will be better regardless of track hey?

... what year doo cap works?

Off the XM, e.g, runs about $15US. Any doo dealer will get one for you.

The comp track will really hook up on the firmer snow, and lift the skis at will, especially if you gear it down. It will be a very fun ride.
