Recently moved to Portland from Bend and I'm looking from some advise and people to ride with. It seems like my only two real options are Adams and St. Helens for the type of riding I like to do, I hear Mt. Hood sucks.
So what areas would you guys recommend? Do you park at sno parks or are there roads that have less people and better coverage? I obviously don't know the area so I'm also looking for people to ride with as well.
I try to stay of trail as much as possible, but understand sometimes to get to the good stuff some trail has to be ridden. If anyone has ridden by Mt Bachelor or central Oregon, that's the terrain I'm most familiar with riding.
So with that said anyone want to show me around?
