Sorry guys...new to this sport. We haul all our other toys on our 18' steel floor car hauler. Will this suffice for a sled without any modifications? Its scratched up pretty good so not worried about the carbides. Thanks in advance.

I've seen all manner of trailers in sledding parking lots. If it's big enough to hauls a sled it works. Just a matter of when you decide you want something that works better and is more convenient. Biggest issue you will probably encounter is it will be super slick on that steel deck when there is any amount of snow or ice on it. Anything you can do to add traction for walking or for the sled tracks will be very helpful. This can be anything from adding ski glides with traction nubs on them, cheap adhesive step pads, putting a new coat of paint on with sand mixed in, or screwing some cheap carpet down on the deck.
No issue but they might slide around a little more. Just tie em down good.
