Just traded my 2012 Cat in on a 2013 Pro RMK. Have never owned a Pro before jsut rode a couple that friends have. Any helpful suggestions to watch out for or do to the sled to make it better would be greatly appreciated. Looking to do some minor stuff like venting, clutching and a can. Rode a friends '12 a couple weekends ago and really like it. WAY, WAY easier to ride than the fat Cat. Been a Doo guy for along time and thought it was time to try something different. Didnt like the Cat.

All I did was throw an aluminum skid plate under the quikdrive pulley and ride! My 12 and 13 pros are both stock. I think Polaris is pretty darn close on the clutching (for my needs), and with the warranty.....I just leave it stock. They are great sleds right out of the box!

I did go through all/most of the electrical connections to make sure they were tight.

-hps can or stock
-skinz or b and m front and rear bumper
-you can put exit or raptor springs on the stock shocks if you want instead of upgrading shocks
- dont need a ton of venting but you need the mike taylor foot well vents to keep snow out of your clutching.
- if you use a under body lift it will push the belly pan up into the belt drive, a couple companies make a aluminum plate to stop this and protect it from impacts as well and cover the original oil drain hole that snow can enter in.
-depending on how much you ride or where you ride you dont want to load the tunnel up a ton, i really like the mountain addiction fuel can/half bag if you need more fuel you can add a second can or get an aluminum rack and do the drop off you jerry can in riding area thing.
-make sure it has the drive shaft collar. if back ordered buy an aftermarket one. also might want to grad a spare drive belt as well and keep it in you bag or under your hood some how.

enjoy it most of all, i have 3 friends with 13s and have road them alot and so far they love them, they just climb and climb even though some guys say they dont "feel as powerful" as a cat or doo.

What did you do to get that MotorFist decal to stick to the tank??

It stuck well at first.

But then it bubbled and broke apart from my leg hitting it right by the seat. Fell off after about 200 miles.

Scott, that looks like a sick place to live judging by the background.:face-icon-small-coo Digging the tunel wrap too man, looks nice.

Hey Scott, can we get a picture of the top of your tunnel? That looks like the Arcticfx OE tunnel kit? BTW love the sled, looks awesome!
