Came off a 2011 Summit X 154 with the 800 Etec.

Well I finally got some seat time on my Pro, rode in Southern CO for 4 days, and it was enough to convince me that this sled is the real deal. This thing is amazing, there isn't really any other way to put it, I didn't think it could get better than my Doo, but it did, and its on a whole nother level. I cant get over how well it handles, absolutely incredible, it feels so light and is so nimble, I am so much more confident on this sled. I am still getting used to it, it is a hard sled to ride, but only because its so easy to ride. Everyday I got a little bit more comfortable and started pushing limits, its absolutely a blast. I'll be honestly, the 800 Etec has better power and can out climb the Pro, but that doesnt matter, you can go so many more place with the pro just because of the handling. This sled is so much fun and I cant wait to get back on it.

-You wont be seeing me back on a Doo anytime soon.

Oh dear God, wait until fredw, Archbishop of Medicine Hat gets ahold of this post...he'll have you excommunicated from the Church of Doo for sure.

I don't understand the Doo guys who try to talk their sled over the Pro.. but then again I doo, you can't just hop and the Pro and do amazing things, you gotta learn how to ride it, give it time... by the 3rd full day I was finally getting comfortable on the sled and time after time thinking- holy chit how'd I do that. Its amazing, I NEVER once found my self pulling on the handlebars to get the sled to start or hold a line, that was the thing that really made me realize how awesome it is.

There a couple minor things that I dont like- Cooling on the trail sucks, especially when both your scratchers are broke... Oooops :face-icon-small-dis, Im still undecided on whether or not I like the handlebars- kinda wide and just weird , the reverse only kicked on/off about half the times after the sled would restart and I would find myself almost going over the bars, or off the back, the little 1/4 turn clip dealios suck, and the seat... well yeah, it narrow, and feels wierd :face-icon-small-con.

But hey! Its a mountain sled, not made for the trails and I dont hardly use the seat, I will get used to the bars, and the 1/4 clips can easily be replaced with straps... and for the reverse surprises, well one day it will prolly make for a funny helmet cam clip.

Funnest sled i've ever been on, hands down, and having fun is what its all about. If Doo guys or Cat guys think they have better sleds, well more power to them! Its all about loving what you have and making the most of it.

LOL, true dat! I'm rather amazed at how brand blind the Doo loyalists are. I'm forever grateful for what the REV did for snowmobiling (still have both of mine) but the Pro is doing the same for mtn riding. I am seeing an awful lot of my friends from DooTalk over here now! :face-icon-small-win:wine:

Cheers,

Once I threw away the f----ed up over wide too tall handlebars, and put on a set of 5" rise RSI's I'm also having a blast. I'm running some dealer prepped clutching that is giving my Red UBR 900 fits in hillclimb drags. The e-techs I saw on the snow last year wouldn't run with the UBR-900. There appears to be some good gains in aftermarket clutching.
