New to Laramie When was first time able to ride last season

Im attending college here in Laramie, i live in lander and rode last year in the middle of november any ideas on first rides last year in the snowy range

Last year we started the last weekend of nov. THe year before we started the last weekend of oct.

Usually you can expect to start on T-day, the grooming (if you care) startes the first weekend of Dec.

Ended last season jun 14th.

I lived in laramie all last year(attended Wyotech). Me and some buds took our sleds up the last weekend of October. There wasnt much snow but we were able to climb Lake Marie hill with only 2 feet of snow. it was pretty sweet. Im predicting you should be able to do the same this year. I'll be up in Jackson Hole this winter for work and should make it down to ride the snowy's a few times. Ive got some pics from last season on my profile. Chech it out. Have fun but watch for rocks. I hit a **** ton of em last season.:cool:

First of December last year, went up on thanksgiving, but only road about 1/2 a mile not much snow. December it came and didn't stop till June.

We were on the roads for several weekends towards the end of october, first of november. First good off-trail ride came towards the end of November. We then rode every weekend until march. Decided to call it a good season then and there rather then risk more damage to the sleds then they had already incurred. Just ask Ollie about how rough my sled was by the end of the season.

bah, I was riding off-trail out there through the end of april! Even into May it wasn't bad....

yeah we had some great "late season" powder last April and begining of may. I rode back towards Widowmaker and that area all off trail(across some lakes too!!!) in the middle of June!!! There should be some great footage on Ten Highs new vid you should buy one and watch it. Depending on how this winter is you can probly bet on a short ride towards the end of next month.

Did you see it after the last ride? The -only- thing holding my side panels on was duct tape. Bumper was duct tape and zip ties. Hood was still (mostly) good. I called it quits when the electronics started shorting out after the grip heater control got broken in a rollover and filled up with ice.

may?!?
I parked my sled after the 14th of june. Could have gone at least 1 more time.
